Business Development Representative
Summary
SecurEnds is looking for a results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) who will help generate new business opportunities to fuel the growth of SecurEnds. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring salesperson to get started in a fast moving career with great growth potential. The BDR will be responsible for introducing SecurEnds solutions to new prospects (uncovered by his/her own research as well as inbound lead generation programs) in order to qualify opportunities and secure initial sales meetings.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
Manage lead development pipeline
Work closely and collaboratively with account executives (also known as sales reps) to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies for select target accounts
Outbound prospecting (via cold-calling, networking and emailing) into a defined list of target accounts, identify key players, and penetrate accounts to generate initial interest and setting meetings
Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify inbound leads through calls, emails, and social media
Schedule discovery meetings for an account executive to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with SecurEnds
Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
Help companies realize the importance of entitlement management
Maintain accurate and current information on prospects and interaction activities in the company CRM system

We’re looking for people who have:
1+ years of sales development or prospecting experience, preferably over the phone; start up experience a plus
A ‘hunter’ mentality - comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and following up on incoming leads and strong desire to win
A comfort level with senior professionals and the communications skills to articulate SecurEnds solutions to a wide range of organizational and functional levels.
A track record of high achievement
